About the Hermosa Ecozone Project

The Hermosa Ecozone Project is a 487-hectare township under development in
Hermosa, Bataan, strategically located along the Central Luzon West Growth
Corridor and accessible via the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx).
It is composed of the Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park (HEIP), an industrial
economic zone with a land area of approximately 165 hectares, and the
Hermosa Ecozone Leisure Estate (HELE), a residential community and
commercial development area. The comprehensive master development plan
for the project was prepared by Robert Lamb Hart Architects based in San
Francisco, California.
The detailed master plan and engineering design for HEIP, the industrial
estate, has been completed with development already underway. HEIP is also
registered as a special economic zone with the Philippine Economic Zone
Authority, meaning that locators at HEIP stand to benefit from tax and
non-tax incentives extended by the Philippine government. Science Park of
the Philippines , Inc. (SPPI), one of the leading industrial estate
developers in the Philippines, is the General Manager of HEIP.
The conceptual master plan for the HELE, the leisure estate, was prepared
by Palafox Associates, the Philippines’ premier architectural, planning and
design firm. PentaCapital Investment Corporation, a leading independent
investment house with unique expertise in project development for real
estate, leisure and build-operate-transfer infrastructure projects, is the
General Manager of HELE.
